Australia store has been updated, but won't go through to "buy it now". I want to check the BTO prices on it!
EDIT: also glad to see that the AUD price has dropped a bit. Still, the base item is AUD 1399 so that's over USD 1,500 - how does that compare for you Americans?

they probably fixed the issue months ago, considering its no problem on the iPad 2 and they just haven't released it just yet to have an excuse to push the iPhone 5 further away

No, that is not Adware. Adware is a program that is installed *on your computer*, so it can launch windows whenever it wants.
I think he's saying that LimeWire is opening the popups when no browser window is open. That's not "adware" in the sense in which we're talking about, which is a hidden background program that opens browser windows randomly no matter what application you're running.

They undoubtedly exist, as they're based on biochemical pathways. You can't necessarily change that, at least easily. I don't think that's the point hes trying to make, however, as he does have a point in the willpower effect-- it's basically the same as the placebo effect; your belief in something can have a positive chemical effect upon your bodies pathways. In the case of drug users, this can be seen in the "bottoming out" effect-- the addiction pathway doesn't suddenly flip, in fact in almost all cases it always remains permanently on, rather it's the person and their willpower who decides that they've had enough.
The human mind is an amazing thing, especially in its ability to either alter or deal with modified pathways caused by external stress factors.

To say AA or 12 step programs are a "joke" doesn't leave much room for interpretation and is quite different than what you have stated. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'd respectfully disagree based on my profession and experience.
I completely understand people having a hard time with those that use alcohol or drugs as an excuse for things in life, but I'm talking about genuine addiction, not just immaturity. The aspects of psychological dependence that affect spirit, identity, and will can be debilitating and are often the most difficult things to change.

wireless (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Max whatever)? I used to think that this was a cool thing to have in an iPod. an iPod with internet radio capability sounds like a really cool idea. I'm lukewarm about now.
We already have wired music share libraries on our computers (college campus). I just don't have the motivation to explore other's music library. I turn my sharing off, quite frankly I'm embarrass to let the world know what I'm listening to most of the time:D .
The next step? An iPod phone. It should do two simple simple simple simple things (1) act like a basic phone you contacts, missed calls, dial calls etc and (2) behaves like a 4GB Nano. yeah I know, Motorolo Rokr didn't meet the challenge.

I'm holding off until WWDC to decide what route of "Mac conversion" I am going to be using. If Leopard has a built in Parallels type solution (which I believe it will), then I will absolutely begin my church's mac conversion in January.

That's typical Apple. Intel chipset does not support USB 3.0? No USB 3.0 for Apple fans! NVIDIA GPUs do not work with SandyBridge? Stick with outdated C2D CPUs for years. What's more important - CPU/chip or case? In case of Apple, the case always wins. Apple is all about image. Once designed, the case should stay unchanged for many years. Apple will wait until somebody designs a "suitable" chip. Is not it kind of backward? Then we hear excuses from Apple fans why Apple could not use separate USB 3.0 controller. This would require redesign of the motherboard - Wow! Think of it - redesigning a motherboard! Some companies redesign tens of motherboards every year but Apple? No way. Now iPhone users will be stuck with outdated technology for a year or two and they will be feeding us all kinds of excuses why LTE can not be used in iPhone. Just ridiculous.
